This Tool gives you Power over your running processes. This is your machine (at least I assume so :-) so you should be the one in control. There are many features, functions and possibilities that are difficult or impossible to access, hidden deeply in your system, accessible only by the so called "API-Functions"
When the Program starts a window with currently running processes is opened. The list only contains top-level processes and (if you didn't change the options) only the ones which have a title. By double-clicking on any item in the list a new window with the items child processes is opened. If there aren't any, the list will be empty.
The text at the far right of the process name (in brackets) is the name of the processes class. For example "#32770" is a standard dialog window. "Button" is a button, "Static" is a textfield. Many processes have their own classes.
By right clicking on any process you will get a context menu with some commands. Try these with the Windows calculator to find out what they do. They are not too dangerous, and you will not permanently harm the program. After closing the calculator and starting it again everything will be normal again.
